40 Under 40: Brittney Ketterer
Brittney Ketterer is involved in a wide variety of community activities and operates her own Mary Kay beauty consulting business in Moses Lake.
Ketterer takes a great deal of interest in looking at things holistically and ensuring that transactions have a positive outcome, not just on the cash flow for her business, but also on her clients. It’s about making sure the client benefits, not just that she’s made a sale.
She is also involved in her community in multiple ways, including the Mothers of PreSchoolers group, also known as MOPS. She also actively supports the MAN UP organization in the community, a nonprofit made up of a variety of people who actively look to help others in the community when they see something needs done or someone needs help. She has also worked to support Big Bend Community College in its efforts to educate area residents.
Nominated by her husband Joe Ketterer, she is recognized by others as well for her volunteer efforts and dedication to community building.
“She is a frequent volunteer with organizations she’s not affiliated with, such as recently being the Kiddie Parade director for 2024 Spring Fest in Moses Lake,” Joe said in his nomination.
She has also volunteered to help with fundraising and other activities at the Junior League of Yakima.
