Weeds and debris blown into a portion of the Blythe section of a Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District ditch after that massive windstorm in late March. The storm kept district crews busy cleaning out debris across the hundreds of miles of canals and ditches, and is one reason the district is replacing smaller irrigation ditches with buried pipes.
